No ability to view camera history or to make a clip in the webapp

Within the last week the web application has been updated and I no longer have the ability to view anything but a live stream. I cannot look back even seconds. I have no timeline of activity to review. In conjunction,

I also have no ability to make a clip (probably because it's hard to clip a live view only). The clips menu only shows existing clips without an option to create one. I discovered this as I thought it may be a word around to see my video history. No joy. 

Did no one QA test this before it was moved into prod? 

I have 2 cams, an indoor and outdoor. Both are lacking. 

If this isn't corrected soon, it's enough to make me choose other options as this is the main reason I have them!

Google Home absolutely sucks.  I bought my first camera a year ago (powered) and with Nest, it was awesome.  A month ago I bought two more (battery powered) and when I was setting them up, had to use Google Home.  I hate it.  So much that I'm considering switching.  I get an alert that it sees someone and when I pull it up, the video starts just as the person dissapears off the screen, even though it sees 50 feet of sidewalk in front of my house.  Then the garbage truck comes and stops at my neighbors house and then mine in full camera view and I get NO alert at all.  Very sporadic.

Yes this is still an issue! Nothing has changed and I have no ability to see anything other than a live view.

I have had Nest aware since before Google bought Nest. I never said anything about being interested as I have it already. This answers nothing about these new issues.

Are you saying that the main feature of the web application which has been available to me for the last 8+ years until 2 weeks ago is not NOT POSSIBLE? 

Looking at any past events or making a clip of footage is not impossible. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!

I am telling you that the web app version is not available via Google Home. The new 2021 cams that came out are not available in the Nest app, thus not available on the Nest web app on a computer. We have plans to make a Google Home web app, but I have not been provided with any form of a date or anything. If you wish to view footage on a new cam, it has to be on the mobile app.

The Nest app has become very slow and buggy in the last couple of years.

There is no such option for a web app version of the Google Home app. Or if this is just related to not having a Nest Aware sub, then there is the issue. Anything else, please contact Support
