Hi, we have installed a battery operated doorbell and are having issues hearing any doorbell sound on our iPhones. We do not have a Hub nor speakers and I’m not sure if that relates to the issue. I’ve turned on doorbell/visitor announcements and confirmed that my phone audio settings are up and enabled.
I do see the notification but no sound. I want to make sure I can “hear” that someone is at the door if I’m not looking at my phone.
Anyone have this same issue? Any advice? TIA

I’m glad to hear that I’m not alone! Hopefully we get some help on here as I’ve had no luck in my research.

You don't get a "doorbell sound" with any Google Nest doorbells on an iPhone. You just get the standard IOS notification sound. That's all we get on our iPhones and there is no option for another sound. Per other posts in this forum, if you nave an Android phone, you can configure a doorbell sound.

Hello everyone,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. We would recommend you to go to your phone's settings and look for the Nest app or Google Home app. Proceed to the settings of the app and look for sound notification then select your desired tone. Let us know how it goes.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.
Best,
Emerson
