hello everyone
I was expecting that the nest wifi access point would get the doorbell notification when someone ring? I am wrong. I tried everything about the available parameters but nothing help. So to get my doorbell notification I need to add a nest mini, in that case I will have 2 google assistant at the same point. I find that weird to be honest
if someone found a way to make it work, I am aware to know how
thanks

Hi nico4,
Thanks for visiting the Community. I'm sorry to hear that and for the delayed response. Let's try the steps in this guide: Get doorbell visitor announcements on a speaker or display.
Let me know if that works.
Thanks,
JT

Hello JT
thank you for your reply
I checked it again in the NEST application because it's a wired doorbell
everything is ok there
Visitors are always annouced on all devices including the Google Assistant EXCEPT the NEST Wifi access point. And this device has no specific setting compared to other Google Assistant devices.
Regarding the device options I think it's a lack in feature
Regards
Nico

Hi nico4,
Thanks for trying and I appreciate your efforts on this. Let's have a better look — have you tried enabling your visitor announcement in the Google Home app? If you have a Nest Doorbell (battery) going over the steps here might help:
Let me know if that helps.
Best,
JT

Hello JT
I confirm you the annoucements is already set to ON, otherwise I would not have them on the nest mini and nest hub, see doorbell

Keep me posted.
