No events recorded

We installed the outdoor wired Nest can a few months ago. The event history says "no events recorded" on the any day other than today. Today's events do show. Last time I checked the event history ( a couple days ago) all previous days were still showing all events. No changes have been made to settings. Tried anything I found online and no answers.
