I was trying to reset the nest cam as we currently added a new networks. Home & nest app says that cam is offline. After inspecting it, I discovered it has no power. Its plugged in but not getting any power at all. I also cant remove it from the silver mount so I cant tell if its the battery or simply just not plugged into the actual camera. It IS plugged into the outlet but no power. How do I remove the cam from the mount to check that its still plugged into the cam under the mount plate? I Appreciate all answers & solutions!

What camera do you actually have. The 1st gen Google Nest Outdoor Camera is attached to the mounting plate with just a magnet, and the power cable is plugged directly into the camera.
The 1st gen Google Nest Camera Outdoor is mounted by screwing into the mounting plate, as show at about 6:45 in the video in this Help topic:

Neither of these cameras has a battery.
You can find factory reset instructions in this Help topic (after the Restart instructions):

Thanks for your reply. I have the nest cam IQ outdoor. Since theres no battery, Im assuming it somehow got unplugged at the camera. I just cant get the plate to come off the mount to check. Also, it's almost impossible to remove the plate because the dummy that installed it placed the flood light/motion detector directly above the camera giving me absolutely no room to unscrew the microscopic screw making it extremely difficult, if not impossible to remove the plate. Thanks for your time and suggestion but I'm just going to call someone to have them all reinstalled and probably upgraded to newest cams since the ones I have are prehistoric. Lol. Again, thanks for your help
