No snapshot in history list - Nest Aware subscription held - Doorbell and cameras

I note a post in relation to this issue was made about 12 mths ago and that Google engineers were apparently  looking into it.
I can not see any subsequent posts in relation to this which provide a solution.

History lists do not show a snapshot of the recording, only a grey box with "i" displayed.

Things work correctly however on my wife's Android phone -Galaxy S8 but will not display correctly on my Android phone - Galaxy S10.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thanks for posting here in the Community and for getting back to us. To know more about this issue, I'd like to ask: what are the troubleshooting steps you've done?
 

Give these steps a try:

  • Try reinstalling your Nest app and Google Home app.
  • Could you try signing in your own account to your wife's mobile phone?
  • Restart your Nest Camera and Nest Doorbell, mobile phone and Wi-Fi router.

I have actually raised a formal support ticket.
I have tried all of your suggestions previously.

I am not confident that Google will resolve this issue in the short term. It is a known issue with Android 12 users that was first reported 12 mths ago. Given the problems are so widespread, I am surprised that Google haven't issued a fix for this yet.
