Outdoor google nest camera

I recently paid for a camera install on Google Nest on my home system and it worked until the battery ran down and it no longer works. I talked to the technician that installed it and he said that it’s probably wired wrong on the installation I need to get someone out here to repair it

Are you using the optional 5-meter or 10-meter optional power cable? (I don't know if the enclosed 1-meter charging cord can be used to power the camera on an ongoing basis.). Is your USB connection plugged in securely in the bottom of the camera, with the cable feeding towards the FRONT of the camera?

If connected correctly, when you go to Settings | Battery it should show as "Plugged in" with an infinity symbol.

If you had a "Nest Pro" install your camera, I don't know how you get them to come back. You could try contacting Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
