Outside camer

I purchased my 3 cameras about 4-5 years ago. 2 outside and one outside. I bought a new router so I changed my login name and password.  I was able to reconnect the 2 inside but I can’t get the outside to connect. It tells me to get close to the camera to find it, but it doesn’t… it also said to scan the QR code on the back of it, but there isn’t one. Please help. Thank you

To provide you with accurate troubleshooting steps, please help me out by answering the following questions:

  • What type of camera do you have? If you cannot recognize it, check out this article: Technical specs for Nest cameras and doorbells

  • How far have you gotten in pairing your device? 

  • What’s the color of the LED status light?

  • How far is the device from the router?

  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the device you want to pair?

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.

I can not see live videos from my cameras on my phone

  • When did the trouble first occur?
  • Are you signed into the Nest app or Google Home app?
  • Could you verify if you’re using the right account?
  • Can you check the camera’s live feed?
  • Could you sign in to the Nest app in your web browser and verify if this behavior also occurs there?
  • Do you have a Nest Aware subscription? If so, which type do you have?
  • How is the internet connection in general?
