Problem with installation with google doorbell batteri

When I try to install my  new doorbell with batteri, it tells me to Press the button  to wake up my nest protect. If I Press the next button, then the installation stops with a massage: there is no connection to the assistent Unit. Can anybody help my, and tell my what to do. Please.
