Has anyone figured out how to view Nest Cam Battery on a windows 10 PC ?  I found a work around to view the cam on PC. Works OK but looking for a better way...  Anyone know how to view my nest cam battery on a computer.. with my outdoor nest cams ? Any way to add it to my Nest app on PC & phone nest app ?

Almost every day yet another Google Nest customer discovers what we also discovered when we bought our Google Nest Battery Camera in September 2021. You are the second customer today. The Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in the fall of 2021 work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website.

Google has posted its rationale in these blogs on this forum--along with many customer reactions:

Well that is not entirely true as I was able to add the Home app to my windows 10 PC and wala it worked...  I was able to view all nest cams both older outside and nest battery cam... I use it all the time on PC and is the same as on the phone... It would still be nicer if they allow the Battery cams on the Nest App.

I"m guessing you might possibly be using the third-party "Google Home App For PC - Windows and Mac" tool from the Chrome web store, using an Android Emulator. Unfortunately, we have a 2011 iMac and the most suitable Android Emulator for the MacOS is not supported on Mac computers older than 2014. But even if we could use third-party tools to get the Google Home app to work on our iMac, older Google Nest cameras can only be viewed in the Google Home app and cannot currently be administered or configured there.

I downloaded Bluestacks for windows . Not sure if it would fly on a mac but they offer a download for Mac here if ya want to try it.. https://support.bluestacks.com/hc/en-us/articles/############272-Introducing-BlueStacks-for-macOS Once ya have that you should be able to download the Home app..   Let me know if it works for you as I don't own a Mac...  Good luck

Bluestacks doesn't run on Macs like ours that are older than 2014.
