Problems

I had the nest battery doorbell and battery camera installed by dish less than a week ago.  The camera way up high on my garage is only showing 40% and will need recharging. I am a 74 year old woman....how do I get up there to recharge? Also when someone is on my front porch is there no announcement? And when the ring my bell, do chime? I had the original nest in my last home which notified me by sounds if anyone was on my property. I can't be near my hub 24/7 so what good is this for security? Very disappointed and should have used this 2 grand for adt or ring.  I feel very insecure.

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I'm terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue, I understand how upsetting this could be, but I'm happy to assist you with this issue. You need to pull it down to charge it if you do not have it hardwired in. You can learn how to charge it and all about charging here

I would caution and say please be careful! Maybe you can have a neighbor or someone come and bring it down for you. Please note; you will need to do this regularly, so if you have access to a ladder, that could be helpful for future charging.

Best Regards,
Brad
