QR code says not compatible

Trying ro set up nest doorbell and when I scan QR code comes up with an error message that says not compatible. How do I continue set up?

That's a very strange message to get when trying to install a battery doorbell. In the Google Home app, did you select the plus sign in the upper left corner and select "Set up devices" and then "New devices" and then your "home" prior to scanning your doorbell's QR code?

If you did and you're still getting that message, you could try contacting Support:
