I am also experiencing this issue as of this month (August 2025).
I have a wired doorbell gen 2. It records events but it does shows as offline and does not show a live feed.

Are you getting any error messages?
How far is the Nest Doorbell from the router?
Do you have other Nest devices in the house?
Can the Nest Doorbell find other Wi-Fi networks?
Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the camera?
What Wi-Fi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
Have you performed any troubleshooting steps so far? If so, could you describe them?

No, I have the EXACT SAME ISSUE!!!! WIFI is never down, nor is there a loss to the internet at all!
My nest doorbell (2nd Gen) also is feeding the 24/7 stream and I can view it (20 seconds in the past) just fine.
THIS ISSUE IS A GOOGLE BACKEND ISSUE! Google will not fix this issue, nor do they care to.
I had the same issue with a floodlight years ago, and they did revise the firmware to fix that issue (EXACT SAME ISSUE WITH THE FLOODLIGHT AS THIS ISSUE)

My doorbell is offline currently and has been for about 20 mins. It is uploading video to the Google servers just fine. ITS the app that cannot see the live feed for whatever reason!
App shows doorbell is offline, website (home.google.com) also shows the doorbell is offline. BUT if I scroll back a few seconds on the 24/7 recording, boom there is my video (NOT LIVE but 10 seconds in the past shows up just fine!)
Google does not even try to fix it. They give you excuses like wifi signal is low and blah blah blah, but that's not the issue here at all.
