I recently deleted and reinstalled Google Home. I am trying to now reinstall a gen 1 indoor Nest Camera.
When I try to set up via Google Home, I am directed to the Nest app to complete the set up. But when I try to set up via the Nest app, it says the device has been transferred to Google Home and I need to complete the installation there.
The device was previously transferred from the Nest app to the Google Home app but since reinstalling the latter the device isn’t showing in either app. Is anyone able to help?
Thank you

After deleting and reinstalling the Google Home app, are you still on the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app? You need to be on the "Public Preview" version in order to reinstall a "transferred" 1st gen camera or doorbell.
Why are you trying to reinstall your 1st gen camera anyhow? Is it because you lost access to it? I believe that if you're not on the "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app, you won't be able to see "transferred" 1st gen cameras and doorbells.

Thanks for your reply. I am on the Public Preview version. The problem is that I removed the ‘transferred’ camera as a device on Google Home. So when I now try to re-install it in Google Home it says I need to install it via the Nest app. But the Nest app won’t allow me to install the camera as it says it is already transferred to the Google Home app.
With hindsight I should have transferred the camera back to the Nest app before deleting Home. I cannot find a viable workaround to get the camera back again.

You could try contacting Support to see if they have provided a way for you to reinstall:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

Had to replace my router. I am unable to reset the wifi. Doorbell camera is useless with out the camera working.

Google Nest does not make it easy to update Wi-Fi settings for Google Nest cameras and doorbells. That's why their first recommendation is to set the network name (SSID) and password on your new router/modem to the same values used on your old router/modem (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9223711).
If you can't do that, and you have a 1st gen camera "transferred" to the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app, I don't really know the right way to proceed; Google Nest does not yet seem to have documented how to proceed. If your camera were still in the Google Nest app, you're supposed to remove it from the Google Nest app while still on your old Wi-Fi network in order to factory reset it, since the 1st gen camera does not have a reset pin.
Maybe you'll need to contact Support for directions on how to proceed:

Thank you. I did reach out to support. My doorbell will not factory reset even though it is supposed to. After running a few diagnostic tests with them I was informed that it is indeed defective, but they cannot help me replace it because it is out of warranty. I believe I will be getting a different brand to replace with.
