I noticed that the Google Home app updated recently. I have looked but can't find any new features for scheduling notifications for my cameras. It still appears you can only choose to have notifications on all the time or only when you are away. This seems like this should be a BASIC feature. I don't need camera notifications when I am home, out in the yard in the middle of the day, I want to be notified when someone is lurking around my home at 2am. I have seen some discussions about this in the past because it sounds like this WAS a feature when the cameras were using the NEST app but now that it is the GOOGLE app, it is not a feature. I was really excited when I noticed the Google App had changed this morning, only to realize that Notification Scheduling had not been added. Hopefully I am wrong. If so, could someone tell me how to do this?

I just bought 6 cameras for our church security, I did not realize there is no way to schedule the cameras on and off.
Does Google plan on bringing this feature out? Otherwise I will pack them up and send them back.

Hey with a little more digging I've found out that you can use Google home routines to schedule your cameras on and off. Works

Thank you for the replies. I will look at the routines but I don’t want to turn my cameras on and off, I want them running and recording all movements What it want to do is schedule when I get notifications for each camer. For example, I would like to be notified for any movements from 9pm to 6am but not during the day - unless I am out of town which I would want notifications all the time.

Exactly. What you're describing is a huge glaring hole in the app that basically makes all the "Smart" features of the Nest cam useless.

I believe this feature used to be available for nest cams and was disabled when Google migrated things to their Home app. Without this feature, the Nest cams are broken. It's insane that they haven't fixed this after YEARS of people asking!
