Share multiple camera feeds with family members

Hello everyone.

Is there a way to modify access for family members, limiting their permissions to only view camera feeds on the web?
A family member accidentally deleted one of the cameras as I can see the default 'manager' access is granted to anyone invited, and this access can't be changed. Instead I would like to give family members ‘view only’ access.

I did migrate my Nest account to Google account. My cameras are released before 2021, so I manage them via the Nest app.

The way I setup the family share was via the Nest app where I invited one of the family members to join my Home. Going to the Google Home app I see the same family member showing up there too, so it seems that the invite from the Nest app has synced to the Home app. The only difference is that in the Nest app there are no details about the level of access of the family member, while in the Home app I can see that the family member is listed with the same ‘manager’ access that I have as the owner of the home.

The solution offered in the public documentation is that you have to share one camera live feed URL at a time (with or without a password) via the Nest app and there is no way for the family members to have access to all the cameras via one URL as I have right now (having the member invited with manager rights to the entire home).

What I would like is one web URL which gives access to all the camera live feed previews and from there you can choose the one you like to enter to and make it full screen, or to give view-only access to any invitee. Is this possible?

Thank you.

Hello Esgg,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. We understand that this feature will help you to filter the restrictions of your home members however, we don't have any news to share about applying this to the Nest app or Google Home app. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send yours with our Send Feedback form to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this.

Regards,

Emerson

I sent the feedback. I hope that the next generation of users would get this feature implemented.
