Transferring Google Nest Access to Tenant

DugoDugo1

Hello,

I am renting my house to a tenant. They will have their own internet. How do they get access of the cameras, thermostat, and door camera? Would they have to do a factory reset?  as if it was just installed?

Thanks.

Is there a reason you  can't just give them the login and password to the App?  Or maybe just use the feature where you can give someone else access as long as they have a Gmail Account?

because they're gonna have their own internet.

Hi everyone,

@DugoDugo1, thanks for bringing this up to our attention. We would recommend you to invite them using your Google Home app as a family member. Enter their email address and they'll be receiving an invite to their email. Once they accept the invite they should have their own access even when they're connected to a different internet. Hit this link to invite your home member and let us know how it goes.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer and EmptyNester.

Regards,

Emerson

Hello DugoDugo1,

I'm dropping by to ensure that everything is covered here. How's it going with your Nest account? Were you able to perform the steps I’m suggesting? We'd be glad to hear from you.

Best
