Unable to View Video History

I figured i post this to maybe help someone else. The google reps couldn't provide any real assistance. 

My symptoms: 

Could not view any history clips on my PC. The blue spinning wheel would constantly be there, when I opened the website and when trying to see recorded history. the history would not load to play back.  I could view on my phone though with no issues. 

What I did:

1. cleared all cache, cookie and history from laptop (did not correct it)

2. Signed out of the site, then logged back in using NEST log in and then again with my google log in (did not correct it)

3. Verified my Nest subscription was still active (it was)

4. Unplugged my Wifi modem and plugged it back in- rebooting it. that worked for about 1 min (ill explain why) but the Google tech said i had too many devices on my Wifi (yeh right)

Cause /Now working:

I turned off the Secure VPN on my PC. Th anti virus program I'm running also has a Secure VPN connection. The part of it was blocking anything extra going through my PC. This is why it worked for that 1 minute when i rebooted my wifi- there was nothing to connect too. Its been two days now and I have had no issues reviewing History with my VPN --OFF. Once i turn it on, i cannot see history. 

So before all else, try that!! Hope it helps! and I hope the Google peeps adds it to their list of things to check.
