Using Nest doorbell (battery) but wired in a new construction with no chime

I am thinking this is possible, but can't seem to find a manual/video.

I would like to get a doorbell that is wired, but one that I can use specifically with Google Home (I do not want to have to use the old Nest app) as a part of a new home construction, and with no wired chime.

So a basic question...can I get the Nest Doorbell (battery) and connect it so it is wired just for power (not chime)? I would then use a Nest Mini for the chime. I see there is an option to buy a power cable to plug into the Nest Doorbell (battery) and then have to run to a wall outlet, but given this is a new construction I would rather avoid that and have a clean installation with power simply running right to the doorbell. I see lots of discussion on installing a battery doorbell as wired with chime, but is there anything in particular that needs to be done if I do not use an existing chime? Is there a video or manual (I haven't had any luck - I see the installing the Doorbell (battery) video, but none for wiring it from Google. Thank you.

You might want to wait for Google Nest's new wired doorbell: https://9to5google.com/2022/09/10/new-nest-doorbell-wired/

The battery doorbell can't charge the battery at temperatures below freezing:

"If you’ve connected your Nest Doorbell (battery) to your existing doorbell wiring, the wires don’t directly power the doorbell. Instead, the battery is trickle charged by the power that comes through the wires, and the doorbell runs off the battery charge. At temperatures between -4°F (-20°C) and 32°F (0°C), the doorbell can continue to work, but the battery will drain because it can’t be charged. If the battery drains completely, the doorbell will shut down, and you’ll need to bring it inside to be charged."

And because the doorbell always runs off of the battery, it cannot record 24/7 even with a Nest Aware Plus subscription.

If you still want to use the battery doorbell, you might be able to wire it directly to a doorbell transformer that meets Google Nest's requirements (below), but Google Nest hasn't posted anything about this:

Thanks MplsCustomer

i had mistakenly thought that you could record 24/7 (something I would like to do) if using a battery version, but wired. Thank you for clarifying on that!

i hadn’t seen the news about the new version (I don’t keep up with the latest), so I’ll wait to see what is released on Oct 6. Thank you again!

All set, thank you @Jeran -  Nest Doorbells can't run wired (with no chime) and also record 24x7 with Nest Aware Plus.
