Is there a way to set the time to extend the length of a video clip recorded by the Nest camera?

For 1st gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells installed in the Google Nest app, you cannot lengthen a video clip saved by the camera, but if you have a "Nest Aware Plus" (24/7 recording) subscription, you can manually create your own clips and download them using the Google Nest app or the home.nest.com website:

For 2nd gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells installed in the Google Home app, you can only download clips that the camera has created. However, in the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app, which we do not have, you CAN manually create video clips, again IF you have a "Nest Aware Plus" subscription.

For 2nd gen battery cameras and doorbells, you can specify a "Maximum event length" to save on battery life:

There is no way to set a minimum event length.
