Visitor Notification not playing on Nest Mini

HI

There are a number of similar posts but I can't find any relevent solutions.

I have a Nest Doorbel (battery) that is wired to a power supply; I have a nest mini speaker and both of these are in the same household along with a thermostat.

I installed the door bell first and I get notification to my phone but no chime when the door bell was actually pressed. Quick responses from my phone go back to the doorbell. In frustation for not being able to get a chime I bought a Nest mini which I have configured in the same Google home.  I have checked all online advice on setting but cannot get the nest door bell to chime on the nest mini. We have the same problem with iOS.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the nest mini first but that hasn't made any dfference.

Does anyone out there have a solution to this?

TIA

Ok.  So I idscovered that I had 2 Homes set up ( I have 2 gmail accounts) - somehow this happened when trying to reinstall everything. Again, somehow I have now managed to get all the devices into the same Home and registered there and now it works....most of the time. It looks like if the door bell camera is open on a device then the doorbel chime is suppressed on the Nest mini.
