Wear OS update for google HOME 2.66.58 still no camera notifications

Wear OS update for Google Home asserted to promise Nest Cam visual notifications.  No joy for me.

Running Samsung Galaxy 5pro with all updates.  New Home app installed yesterday- rebooted.  No visual notifications!

Any tips- running from Pixel 7Pro with all updates current.

Exactly the same situation and setup here and can't get it to work. Can't find any info on it. Perhaps waiting for server side switch?

I searched and searched but have not been able to find any proof of it working. It makes me believe that the function despite promises from Samsung and Google is not operational yet.

I was referring to the (ANIMATED) notifications with an image on WearOS smartwatches as announcend on January 19th by Samsung and a few months ago confirmed by Google Home as part of new functionality from the Google Home app... When is that coming?

It's us again. Animated notification previews require Wear OS System UI version 1.4 or higher to be installed on your watch. Go to the Check for updates help article for details on how to update your watch and apps. Please follow the steps on the link and let us know how it goes.

Thanks Emerson. Did all that on combination of Samsung S23 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. No luck! Btw I haven't heard or read about anyone managed to get this to work.

Problem not solved. It is clear that the promises made by Samsung and Google since January 19 regarding this function were nothing else but marketing fluff.

I have the same setup and get the same results. My watch gives me an unhelpful notice to show on phone which opens the home app on my phone and works great there, but is not at all what was announced / described. The whole point of this feature is so you can just look at your watch face to see what the alert is. At this point I'd even settle for a static picture, but really want the promised animation. As mentioned it's impossible to find any trace of this working on any supported phone and watch combination, so I guess until that shows up this feature is just vaporware. And trying to get help just ends up with each side pointing to the other as the source of blame.

not me,I have gw5pro , nest doorbell battery and wear os4 one ui 5 was looking forewarned to the video notification and I got nothing, was starting to think I did not really read it,or read it wrong.

No, you are not wrong- you are describing EXACTLY what we see, nothing.  Updated GW5Pro to new OneUi, and still no visual notifications.... 'snake oil'.  I am not a happy consumer.

Just bumped across this thread... Everything is all upto date, done the new sw update on my galaxy watch 4 classic yesterday but still cannot see visual doorbell notifications on my watch 😞
