Why can't my nest mini work as chime for my nest door bell

Hi there

the products im using:

-Nest mini 

-nest doorbell battery

Installed both yesterday and under the same home over google home.

Struggle to use "nest mini" as a chime  when visitor press the doorbell.

My phone do have a notice ,but nothing happen on nest mini

-The "visitor anouncements" over doorbell is on,

-"Do not disturb" is off

-"night mode" is off

-Under the doorbell setting it shows "Electronic chimes won't work with your
doorbell when it's using battery power",so the "ring indoor chime" shows disable.

So, is that means i can't use "nest mini" as a chime if the "nest doorbell" is powered by battery?

Please help me,i'm so confused.

The "Indoor chime" option is automatically disabled if your battery doorbell is not wired to your doorbell wires because it's not capable of ringing an indoor doorbell chime.

According to your description, you SHOULD be getting "Visitor announcements" on your Nest mini. I've seen a few other posts where, for some unknown reason, this is not working for the battery doorbell.

What did they have you do? It works now?

Yep,just flowed his steps and reset all the setting.Exactly same setting as before.Then turn off  "Visitor announcements" then turn on.then the speaker ringed.
