Why does my google doorbell show 81% battery even though it showed ∞ yesterday?

I checked the voltage on our existing doorbell amd everything was good. Installed a new Google Nest Doorbell (battery). Connected the wires and everything was good. It showed the  ∞ (Infinity symbol) on the battery screen in the iOS Google Home app. Today it shows 81%. What’s going on? Does it only charge sometimes or is something wrong?

What are the specs of your transformer, is it AC, DC? Which voltage?

Mine did this last week. The Doorbell was wired but shows battery percentage. I restarted my Goggle Pixel phone and now it shows wired. Google needs to fix this. Very odd.
