Why isn't the secure loop included in the box?

It is reccomended for use when mounting up high, but isn't included. I requested one (as instructed in the included installation instructions) and they told me the serial numbers weren't elligable. 

If it's a reccomended part of installation to safely instal the product, why isn't it included, and why can't I recieve one? I was referred to the retailer who we purchased the camera from and they have none, and can't understand why google wouldn't send one either.

I pay for a google one subscription, and a nest subscription. Surely it's not too much for google to include (or send) 3 pieces of string that will keep the cameras safer?

Please advise if anyone has had any luck getting through and recieving what should really be included as part of the product.

I was given the same advice when I contacted support to request a loop. I was told it was supposed to be in the box, so I need to contact the retailer. I don't really understand how a factory sealed box missing something is the retailer's fault, but what do I know?

 

Good luck trying to receive a loop. I'll keep trying myself.

I'm under the impression this was an accessory Google added after the first few months. Mine didn't have them in any of the 8 I bought from Google and I had to request them. However mine being from Google they didn't fight coughing them up
