Wired Nest Doorbell not announcing on Alexa

I have installed the doorbell and added it to the Alexa app. But the doorbell isn't ringing through the Alexa Dot. Help!

Thanks for your help. It's the Nest wired 2 generation doorbell and Google account is linked to Alexa. I tried removing the Alexa skill and adding it again. Now I'm getting a 404 error after selecting the doorbell and thermostat to add. Google Home app is updated.

Any more suggestions?

• Make sure your Alexa app is updated.
• Attempt to link the Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) skill using a different phone or tablet to rule out device-specific problems.
