Wired NestCam Model No. NC2400ES Camera Works Fine LED Light Flickering "Orange"

I have a NestCam (wired)  Model No. NC2400ES connected to the Google Home App.  The camera is working fine.  The LED Light is not "green".  It is a fading in and out "orange".  All connections are secure.

I have two more cameras of the same model - should I replace the camera?  Maybe I should contact an electrician?

Google Nest does not seem to document a flashing orange status light:

The model number you specified seems to indicate a 1st gen Google Nest Outdoor Camera, which Google Nest has not sold since Sept. 2021 and which is installed in the Google Nest app, but can be SEEN in the Google Home app, and can be TRANSFERRED to the "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app.

If that is the model you have, it is long past the 1-year warranty.

I am not concerned about the warranty.  I guess I am wondering what the "cause" of the LED malfunction might have been.  Could have been a power surge following a power outage for all I know.   I have a feeling an electrician might be able to answer that question.  I had an electrician install the two cameras I have up and running at the moment.  I would like to install two more - same model NC2400ES.  They are still sitting in the box - unopened.  As long as they would work, I do not see why I could not install them under the "new" Nest Aware subscription plan. . .  If not, maybe there is someone else with whom I could work to use the two cameras.  I do have an ADT plan. . . .

Hi Escalante101,

Thanks for contacting this community! I understand that your Nest Cam (wired) is showing an unusual fading in and out light, even though all your connections are secure and the camera is working fine. I understand why this situation might be confusing, particularly given your concerns about a potential power issue, the need for an electrician, and your plans to install two additional cameras. No worries, I'm happy to help with this.
