Wired indoor Nest Cam: notification overload

Hi, I've had my two nest Wired indoor cameras now for quite  some time. I pay for the better subscription and have never had any issues until about a month maybe two months ago. I've always had my settings as follows: cameras both on while away and home. I do not use home/away assist. When I leave I would manually switch the setting to Away so that I would receive notifications for selected activities I wanted to be aware of happening if I was not at home. When I'd get home I'd change my setting on main Nest app home page back to Home manually as I did when leaving and choosing Away. The notifications would then stop because why would I need to be notified the camera sees me when I'm home? I wouldn't and I don't want to be notified while at home but no matter what settings I have tried and it's all of them I can't get my notifications to work as they once did. Unless I go in and turn all notifications off home or away for people sound motion zones blah blah blah etc... Why does my phone still notify me it see's someone (me) when I have my app set back to me being home and chose the option to only be notified when away. Please send a response that is not a generic apology and obvious steps to take that I've clearly already done hence the reason  I'm on here asking. I did nothing different to make the notifications ignore my choices. It just one day stopped working correctly.

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing your Feature Request with us. I am afraid that what you're asking for isn't a current setting that can be enabled. You will still get them even when you're home. We’re always looking for ways to improve, and appreciate your feedback. You can send it at any time using your devices by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback," or by following the steps found here. This thread will remain open for 24 hours for any follow-up questions or concerns.

Best regards,

Brad
