Wireless Doorbell Cam will not lock in place

Can't get the wireless doorbell to lock in place. The small button near top doesn't pop out to lock assembly in place. Any suggestions?

Contact Google Nest Support (https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp). Other customers in this forum have reported problems with the mounting mechanism on the new battery doorbells and have gotten replacements.
