Wiring Nest Doorbell Battery to trigger chime on intercom system

I am wiring a new Nest Doorbell Battery to be constantly powered with 24VAC.

We have an electronic intercom system and I have identified the two switch wires that trigger the chime when closed.

Does anyone have any proven wiring diagram/approach to have a button press on the Nest Doorbell Battery unit to momentarily close a switch like that?

Can I use a Chime Module (originally made for the wired Nest Hello doorbell) to detect a button press and then add a relay driven by that module to emulate a button press to trigger the chime on my intercom system?  Anyone tried this?

The chime module that comes with google hello  can be used with the Nest Doorbell along with a 24V AC supply. Added a 24v relay to trigger the NuTone intercom chime. I bought the chime module from ebay and a 24V relay (Emerson ############ Fan Relay 24 Volt Coil) from Amazon to complete this.

Connect the chime module to the nest doorbell and 24V power supply the same way it would be connected to  nest hello.  The other two wires (with bare leads) from the chime  module would be connected to the coil leads of the relay.  The NO (normally open) leads of the relay need to be connected to the wires from the NuTone chime module were the old bell switch was connected. Make sure chime is enabled in google home for the nest doorbell.

When wired correctly, pressing the nest doorbell  will activate the relay and the NuTone intercom chime will go off along with the nest notification.

Thanks.  I'll give it a try at my next opportunity (might be couple weeks).
