Won’t connect after new router install.

Just got a new router and when trying to set up my camera again for the new router it gives me an error (C104) that the password I’ve entered is wrong. It is not, I’ve checked and double checked. Even moved it to a room closer to the router in case it was a connection issue. No dice.

Hi @Ejb957

Take a look at this older post: Answered: Cameras won’t connect to new router network - Google Nest Community

That user had the same error code C104 and the Nest response was that it is a wrong password.

Seems that their router needed to connect to 2.4ghz so they had to set that router side.

Hello folks,

@Ejb957 thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear if you're having trouble reconnecting your Nest doorbell to your new Wifi network. I believe in you when you say that you're entering your correct password but for some reason it's not connecting.

Give these steps a try:

  • Restart your Nest camera and Wifi router.
  • If the issue persists, try resetting your Nest camera to the factory default.

Keep us posted.

I appreciate the help, JillG.

Thanks,
Emerson
