Hello Y'all,
I've had a Nest Gen 1 for years, it (mostly) worked fine apart from being quite inconsistent with 'visitor announcements' anyway, it started disconnecting from my network. After monkeying about for ages, resetting and reinstalling, I decided to get a box-fresh new Gen1 Nest Doorbell. Cha-ching.
On install, the new bell fails at the same point, it gets right to the end and when it says 'adding to Nest account', I hear an alert from the the bell itself (3 pips), and then I get an NC009(4072) error.
So new bell, but same error.
I've tried removing the thermostat from the system and then reinstalling the bell (leaving the thermostat off the system), and I've also moved my mesh network to withing 2m, so wifi strength isn't an issue.
At a loss, does anyone in the community have any ideas?

Hello EeekSneek,
I understand that you're having trouble connecting to your Wi-Fi network. I'm here to help you get back online. To troubleshoot the Nest doorbell connectivity issue, have you attempted the following:
1. Created a new home structure and then tried adding the doorbell to see if it connects or results in the same error code?
2. Tried using a mobile hotspot instead of your home Wi-Fi network to connect to the Nest app?
I look forward to your response.
Cheers,
Edmond
