camera 2nd gen. sets up all the way to conected then something went wrong

new camera set up sets up to being connected the goes to finishing up and then goes to something went wrong 18.1 I have other cameras that are working but this one stopped. a new camera is doing the same thing. whats wrong

Thanks for reaching out to our Nest Community. Don't worry, I'm happy to assist you with this situation of connecting your Nest Camera with our app.

 

I apologize for all the inconvenience. Let me give you a hand.
First, let me ask you if you tried:

 

  • Restart your camera:
    Unplug your camera’s power adaptor from the wall socket. Wait 10 seconds, then plug your camera’s power adaptor back in.
    Your camera will restart automatically.
  • Restart your router: Unplug your modem and router. You may have a combination modem/router, or they may be separate devices. All of the lights on your modem and router should be off.
    Wait for 30 seconds, then plug your modem and router back in.
  • Check for interference: If possible, move your camera or doorbell closer to your Wi-Fi router during setup. Then you can place or install it where you want. For more help, go to
  • Restar your Cellphone: Make sure about the updates on your cellphone and app them. restart your cellphone and try again.
