I'm trying to connect my nest outdoor camera to the nest app but getting stuck on the 'choose the last 4 digits of your camera's serial number stage' where nothing appears. I've tried restarting phone, camera and router. Is it no longer possible to add these cameras? Any pointers much appreciated.

Is the camera you are trying to add actually a 1st gen Google Nest Outdoor Camera (which has not been sold since Sept. 2021)?
If your camera is actually the 2nd gen Google Nest Indoor/Outdoor Battery Camera (we've had one since Sept. 2021), it can only be installed in the Google Home app.

Ok thanks. It looks like 2nd generation. I did try Google home app but that also didn't find my device. Kept cycling through looking and asking me device type. And then I saw a note saying only cameras transferred from nest app can be set up in home app. So assumed that was the route.

If you have the battery camera, are you plugging your camera in during the install (with the cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera), as indicated in the install video below?

Yeh all plugged in, blue light pulsing but app not finding it.
