deleat the word home2 from my nest

when I log onto NEST,    2 choices pop up   SWITCH  TO  (home  OR  nest2 ) I would like to ERRASE nest2, it is not required ..  I cannot find  ( DELEAT   nest2 )

got NO HELP FROM YOU . its like being in a BUMPER CAR IN A CIRCUS WITH GOOGLE HELP . just going from one WEB PAGE TO ANOTHER and your still no further ahead THAN when you first started. I spent over 8 HOURS trying to delete " home2" AND STILL NO SATISFACTION.  GOOGLE SCREWED EVERY THING UP WHEN TAKING OVER NEST.

Maybe this will help.

In the Google Nest app, if you select the "home" you want to delete and then select Settings | Home info, you're supposed to see a "Leave home" option, and when you select it, you should have a "Leave" option (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9293015?hl=en#zippy=%2Cremove-a-home-from-the-nest-app%...).  However, since I sign onto the Google Nest app with a Google (gmail) Account, I don't have this option; per the help topic, I have to use the Google Home app to do so.

In the Google Home app, if you select the "home" you want to delete and then select Settings, you're supposed to get a "Delete this home" option, and when you select it, you should have a "Delete" option (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9691327?hl=en#zippy=%2Cdelete-a-home).  However, since my one "home" has another member (per the help topic, I would first have to remove all other members), I only get a "Leave this home" option.
