doorbell battery will not setup

Trying to do initial setup of doorbell battery. First try partial success with a firmware update. Then refused to go forward and got " something went wrong" I rebooted the phone, turned airplane mode on and off. Still no luck, and same response.

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I am sorry to hear that you have ran into trouble installing your new Nest Hello Battery Doorbell! I can imagine it's been quite frustrating to deal with, especially when trying to install your new Doorbell. I would love to look into this further for you. 
  • Are you using the Google Home App to install your Nest Hello Battery Doorbell?
  • Are you connecting the device to your home wifi with other Nest devices connected to it?
  • What steps have you taken to troubleshoot the issue yourself?

I have this exact issue with my battery doorbell.

Anyone found a fix, looking everywhere and I cannot find a solution
