doorbell not ringing on my iphone

i have doorbell and it stopped giving me notifications (bell ring ) on my iphone. i can't figure out the issues

On your iPhone, under Settings | Notifications | Google Home, is "Allow Notifications" enabled, and are "Time Sensitive Notifications" enabled? You could also check the other options there as well.

In the Google Home app for your doorbell, under Settings | Notifications, are "Push notifications" enabled?

You don't get a "bell ring" sound for Google Nest doorbells on iPhones.  Rather, you get whatever sound is configured under Settings | Sounds & Haptics | Default Alerts.

thanks for your reply. following your instructions, i'm getting notifications for doorbell and events (persons appear in camera). is there a way to have the camera record events (such as persons) without getting a notification?

Yes. You first turn on recording for an event type, and then you can turn notifications on or off for that event type, under Settings | Events | Seen events:
