how to connect nest door bell to a new account

Hi, my nest camera was connected to my old account that got deleted. How do i connect the door bell to my new gmail account. When i try adding it to nest/google home the app just says already connected or closes down. Any ideas?

Thank you for posting in the community. It sounds like your Nest Camera is still linked to your deleted Google account and potentially the old Home structure, which is preventing you from adding it to your new Google Home structure with your new email. Let's work together to get this sorted out.

Since the old account has been deleted, the standard methods within the Google Home app won't allow you to remove the camera from that previous configuration.

To connect your Nest Camera to your new Gmail account, you'll need to perform a factory reset on the camera itself. This process will sever the connection to the old account, allowing you to set it up as a new device within your current Google Home structure.

Once you've completed the factory reset, please try adding the camera again through the Google Home app. The app should now recognize it as a new device ready for setup.

After you've reset the camera, please attempt the setup process again in the Google Home app and let me know if everything works correctly. I'll be here to assist you further if you encounter any issues.
