I just came here for this exact question!! We got a new router & wifi sign in, and am trying to get my doorbell connected without success.

During setup, when it gets to the point where you plug in the Doorbell and it chimes, then pulses white, does it ever pulse blue? Just curious, mine doesn't, just pulses white. I hit Next but then while Connecting to joining device, it always fails saying Something went wrong. I just switched to Google Fiber today and I'm trying to setup my doorbell and outdoor cameras with the new network and they keep failing.

Okay, got it. Just needed to factory reset the device. I went here:

https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9252162?hl=en#zippy=%2Cnest-cam-battery-or-nest-cam-wit...

And go to the Nest Doorbell (battery) dropdown - in my case.

I ended up getting mine to work by sticking a paper clip into the pinhole on the back to reset it. I had to push pretty firmly for about 15 seconds or so. The light changed from white to blue. And it found my wifi. Good luck!

Nice, same!

I did the reset again and held it for a longer time, 15-20 seconds. It chimed. Then everything worked. Thanks
