Does anyone know if nest cam 2nd gen. (indoors/wired) Can work when powered by ups with "step-approximated sine wave" ?
I saw medium range back up ups with that type of wave, but I am not sure...If some tech wiz could answer would be great.
For example
APC Back-UPS 850VA, 230V, USB Type-C and A charging ports, 8 French/Belgian outlets (2 surge)
Thanks

Hello AndyAnders,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To confirm, are you referring to the charged up power of the UPS? Each of Nest Cameras has their own power requirements. So if your UPS can provide the power, then it would power up the Nest Camera. Hit this link to know more about the technical specs for Nest Cameras and Nest Doorbells. Let us know if you have more questions or concerns.

Emerson
