nest camera keeps clicking

My nest camera has a constant clicking.  It sounds like it switching from night mode to day mode constantly.  ive tried resetting the camera numerous times.  It was so annoying that I ended up getting a new one and it is still happening.  What can I do?

If this is happening on two different cameras, is it possible there is something unusual about the lighting in the room that is confusing the night vision sensor?

Hi! We have a wired one. It’s placed on top of a desk with an attach bookshelf. The room is often shaded

Thanks for your response. I understand that you have the Nest Indoor wired camera. In this case, I just need to make sure about the sound that you are hearing. 

1. Can you please send me a video of the camera doing that clicking sound?
2. When did you notice the clicking sound?

it happens around the morning usually sometimes from 5 - 7.  it does not stop even after unplugging sometimes.  I will send it once I record it.
