I had cable company optimun and the nest cams worked well.

I moved to FIOS network I cannot reconnect the cams because the CODE and 6 digit number are om the back of the cams.  The cams are installed 20-35 feet uo on the house.

How do I reconnect these camera WITHOUT limbing a ladder?

HELP!

@joestroll

Unfortunately, you need either the QR code (which is on a sticker on the newer cameras) or the 6-character Setup Code in order to reinstall.

We've written down the Setup Codes for our cameras and doorbells when we installed them to avoid this hassle when reinstalling.

If your new router/modem does not have the same network name (SSID) and password as your old router/modem, you'll also need to remove the cameras and doorbells from the Google Nest app or Google Home app, and then do a factory reset (which requires physical access to the camera) before reinstalling it.  If you set the network name (SSID) and password on your new router/modem to the same values you used on your old router/modem, you may not have to update any of your Google Nest devices.  That's what we did when we got a new router/modem a year ago.
