nest doorbell is no longer announcing on google speaker

My battery nest doorbell no longer announces that the doorbell was used on my google mini speaker.  The push notifications are toggled on in the doorbell tile settings.  The visitor announcements setting are toggled on in the doorbell tile settings.   The speaker is connected to the wi-fi.  The doorbell and speaker on same "home" with my other connected google devices.  I get google home notifications on my iphone, iwatch and ipad when the doorbell is used.     How can I get the doorbell notification to be announced on the speaker?   Thanks in advance, T......

Same for me but I have with cable instead of battery.

Power cycle everything.. doorbell, speakers, router.. and see what happens.  This happened to me, took a full power cycle of all devices before it worked again.

That seemed to do the trick.  I also removed and reinstalled my google mini on the google home app
