new phone not connecting

I am trying to setup my sisters doorbell---it was previously working and she got a new iphone and it will not connect via the home app. Any suggestions?

When getting a new phone, all she should have to do is to log into the Google Home app using the same Google Account she was using on the old phone and, if she has more than one Google Nest "home/structure", selecting the one she was accessing on the old phone.
