I have 8 nest cameras (4 indoor cameras 3 outdoor cameras, and 1 hello doorbell) that I've had for several years. Yesterday one of my outdoor cameras just stopped working. I didn't experience any power outages everything was fine, it just stopped working. I've tried switching power supplies and nothing. Still no power. The camera doesn't have any lights on. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?

We have 3 of the outdoor cameras. You could try plugging and unplugging the power supply a bunch of times, in case there's any corrosion there that's causing a poor connection. And of course making sure the wall outlet has power.

I just tried this. Unfortunately nothing changed. Thanks for the recommendation though.

Unfortunately these cameras do break from time to time. And Google (nor anyone else) does not offer a repair service. I have had one of my outdoor IQ cams fail about 2 years ago. I ended up just replacing it with a used one from Ebay. And in fact the non-IQ is so much cheaper that I went that route. I'm not sure the benefits of the IQ make it worth while at least in my application.
Good luck

Hey folks,
tekstein79, I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. Is the Nest Cam Outdoor’s cable securely connected to the power adapter? Try to push and twist the USB connector into place. Then, plug the adapter into a power outlet. Also, you can try to unplug the power adapter from the power outlet and from the locking USB cable that connects to the camera. Let us know how it goes.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer and EmptyNester.
Thanks,
Archie
