Google Nest sells this power adapter that will work with the battery doorbell:
However, even when the battery doorbell is connected to power, it still runs off of battery power: "If you’ve connected your Nest Doorbell (battery) to your existing doorbell wiring, the wires don’t directly power the doorbell. Instead, the battery is trickle charged by the power that comes through the wires, and the doorbell runs off the battery charge." https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/11830989
And because of that, the battery doorbell cannot record 24/7: "24/7 video history is not available for the Nest Doorbell (battery), even with optional wired installation." https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9681538
