Just installed my new nest camera in Google home. When opening google home and push on the camera i get the message "reactivate this device to watch live video or get event notifications". also the menu is mentioning that the camera is off. How can i solve this as i installed it several times again.
Google really should have instructions somewhere on how to respond to this "reactivate" message but in searching Google Nest Help (https://support.google.com/googlenest/?hl=en#topic=7029097) all you get are old forum posts with no solution.
There are two posts, one in Google and one in Reddit, suggesting that the camera "reactivates" if you snap it back in the magnetic mount. That seems improbable, but here are the two posts:
