video record length

How do I adjust the video record length for google camera? 

i have already done the following, I can’t find where it lets me choose the minutes. Im not seeing it in video. I see video history, quality, night vision, status light brightness and rotate image. 

• Open your Google Home app> select your Nest Camera.
• Go to settings> video and choose the maximum length for event video recordings. 
  • 3 minutes
  • 2 minutes
  • 1 minutes
  • 30 seconds (default)
  • 15 seconds
  • 10 seconds

Do you have a 2nd gen camera?  The setting is only available in the Google Home app for 2nd gen cameras.

I just compared the Video settings for our 2nd gen battery camera and our 2nd gen indoor wired camera. Only the battery camera has the "Maximum event length" setting. I didn't notice the difference until just now; sorry. Perhaps the setting exists to prevent drain on the battery models. Our battery camera is plugged in all the time, so it shouldn't make a difference.
