Altered tv image

I connected my Chromecast to my Wi-Fi and now it just gives me a fuzzy screen with lines going through it, images are not visible. Very pixelated and colorful with stripes. Is this a defect chromecast? I’m using it on my Mitsubishi, unisen tv. Thanks

Thanks for posting. Let's sort this out.

A few questions: what model of Chromecast do you have? Does the issue occur when casting a video content to your TV? If yes, have you ever cast a video before without any video quality issues? Have you tried using the Chromecast on a different TV? Does it show the same behavior?

1. Reboot your Chromecast.
2. On the mobile device, close and reopen all cast-supported applications.
3. Open a different cast-supported app and cast a different video.
4. Try a different TV.
5. Reset your Chromecast.
