CCAudio erratic.

Been using CCAudio for about 3 months. Had a few hiccups initially then everything was OK until a few days ago.

Using Spotify on my laptop CCAudio isn't shown as a cast destination but it is shown when I use Spotify on my android phone. If I select it using my phone it then pops up on my laptop  but doesn't remain permanently.  If I use my Google browser the CC function doesn't show CCAudio as a a cast destination.

I have discovered that I can cast  CCAudio from my 2nd laptop using Chrome browser and this activates casting in the same way from my 1st laptop.

What on earth is happening?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Based on your description, it seems that the Chromecast device is working as intended. Both your phone and the second laptop were able to find it and cast on it right away. Chances are, there’s something on the first laptop (software, firewall, security program, etc.) that distrusts your Chromecast device. Your Chromecast device can’t differentiate casting sources; it’s a slave device that will accept casting from any device within the same network. Try to figure out things on this laptop that might be causing it. Let me know if you have questions.
